Militia fire subsiding - Ukrainian military
KYIV. Dec 7 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian military has announced that Ukrainian forces have dealt 42 artillery strikes on the militia and on enemy weapon systems in retaliation for the militia's 33 shelling attacks on the Ukrainian positions in eastern Ukraine.
The intensity of the militia's operations has subsided all along the frontline, compared to Saturday's fighting, the press center of the military operation said on Facebook.
The militias' artillery and mortar fire was "particularly intense on the Debaltseve bridgehead, where they shelled Mius, Chornukhyne, Debaltseve, Orlovo-Ivanivka , Poltavske, Nikishin, Olkhovatka and Fashchevka, the Ukrainian military said.
Ukrainian troops continue building fortifications, improving the infrastructure of field camps and doing the "combat work," the press center said.
