Washington fails to provide evidence of Yaroshenko's involvement in drug trafficking - FSKN chief
MOSCOW. Dec 8 (Interfax) - The United States has never provided Russian security agencies with evidence of Russian pilot Konstantin Yaroshenko being involved in illicit drug trafficking.
"This data was never sent to us," head of Russia's Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN) Viktor Ivanov told reporters on Monday, responding to a question posed by Interfax.
Yaroshenko is serving a 20-year sentence in a U.S. prison. He was arrested in Liberia in May 2010 on the charge of plotting transportation of a large quantity of cocaine and deported to the U.S.
