Ukraine hopes for swift verdict in gas dispute with Russia - Yatsenyuk
KYIV. Dec 9 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has not ruled out a possibility to agree over price policy revisions with Russia's Gazprom without a court.
"The two lawsuits which have been filed with the Stockholm arbitration - one against Gazprom over price revision, the other over revision of a transit agreement - will be completed. Many procedures were conducted. We hope there will be final verdicts of the Stockholm arbitration court over the coming year," Yatsenyuk told government on Tuesday.
The temporary trilateral agreement expires on March 31, he said.
"So there are two options as ever: either we agree without the court, which is what we managed to do this time as a temporary agreement, or the court will issue a final judgment with respect to Russian company Gazprom," the Ukrainian prime minister said.
