Kazakhstan's gold and currency reserves up 0.3% in Nov, 10.3% in 11M
ALMATY. Dec 10 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's gold and foreign exchange reserves, including the National Bank's gross reserves and funds accumulated in the National Fund, grew 0.3% in November, or 10.3% in the year to date, to $105.375 billion, the National Bank said in a statement.
According to the statement, the assets of the National Fund stood at $76.761 billion as of December 1, 2014, down 0.1% from a month earlier and up 8.4% from January.
The National Bank's gross international reserves rose 1.2% last month to $28.614 billion, or up 15.8% from January.
In November 2014, the National Bank's net international reserves edged up 1.4% to $27.874 billion, up 15.3% from January.
In the month, net currency reserves grew 1% to $21.469 billion, up 12% from January, while gold assets expanded 1.9% to $7.145 billion, up 28.7% from January.
