MOSCOW. Dec 10 (Interfax) - The companies and organizations resident at Skolkovo raised nearly 150 billion rubles in investment this year, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said in an interview with Russian television on Wednesday.

About 85 billion rubles of the investment came from the private sector and 60 billion rubles from the state, he said.

Skolkovo currently has about 1,000 residents. They earned about 20 billion rubles this year, Medvedev said. "Normal production processes are underway there," he said.

"We probably cannot say for now that we have created a full-fledged Silicon Valley, but it took the Americans several decades to do that," he said. The innovation economy "remains a leading item on the agenda," he said.
