TANAP construction ahead of schedule - Turkish Energy Minister Yildiz

ANKARA. Dec 10 (Interfax) - The project to build the Trans Anatolia Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) is three-four months ahead of schedule, Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz said.

"As for TANAP, we are working intensively on this project. We have concluded a tender on 1,800 kilometers of pipeline, that is, from the Georgian border to the border with Greece. We have also completed tenders for production of the pipe itself," Yildiz told journalists on Wednesday.

"For that reason, we are now three-four months ahead of schedule," he said.
