Ryabkov discusses Ukraine with head of U.S. analytical firm

MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov at a Thursday meeting with head of the U.S. Stratfor analytical intelligence firm George Friedman discussed relations between Russia and the U.S. and the situation in Ukraine.

"Opinions were exchanged about the present state and prospects of Russian-U.S. relations. Several major problems of the international and regional agendas, including the situation in and around Ukraine, were also discussed," a Thursday report on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry says.
