Sovcomflot, Aeroflot privatization deals ready - Rosimushchestvo chief Dergunova
MOSCOW. Dec 12 (Interfax) - Privatization sales of stakes in Sovcomflot and Aeroflot Russian Airlines are ready to implement, Deputy Economic Development Minister and Rosimushchestvo chief Olga Dergunova told journalists in Moscow on Friday.
"Aeroflot is in the same form as the markets. The price has in fact fallen roughly 50% since the beginning of the year. At Sovcomflot, the market situation is fundamentally different. The market for the global shipping business is on the rise," she said.
"We were saying that market conditions inside Russia are not conducive to further growth, to put it mildly," Dergunova said.
Nonetheless, the two deals - Aeroflot and Sovcomlot - are ready to go. "If there is a window, there will be sales. There are no restraints, other than the state of the market," she said.
