Lavrov: Mistral contract is a matter of France's dignity

MOSCOW. Dec 16 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov sees Russia's contract with France on the Mistral helicopter carriers as valid but believes this is a matter of the French nation's dignity.

"This is a matter of the contract that has been signed and is valid and of the French nation's dignity," Lavrov said in an interview with the France 24 TV channel.

He declined any more comments on the matter.
