Control and oversight bodies should join effort to cut govt expenses - Sergei Ivanov
MOSCOW. Dec 17 (Interfax) - Control and oversight bodies should be working on the task of reducing expenses and unnecessary costs in government spending, head of the Kremlin administration Sergei Ivanov has said.
At a conference on the advancement of state control he said that in his message to the Federal Assembly President Vladimir Putin put forward the task of guaranteeing the effectiveness of government spending through reducing costs and unnecessary expenses that should be annually cut by no less than 5%.
"The objective has been put forward for the next three years. The work of all control and supervision bodies should be planned, coordinated and set on carrying out this task already now," Ivanov said.
