Putin: Reports on destruction of houses of terrorists' relatives in Chechnya must be looked into
MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - All possible facts in the destruction of the houses of terrorists' relatives in Chechnya must be verified, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"Law enforcement agencies are conducting a preliminary inquiry into this. Who were those people who burnt down and destroyed the houses of terrorists' relatives? These were people in masks. [Chechnya head Ramzan] Kadyrov's statement was emotional, and someone might have taken advantage of this," Putin said at an annual press conference in Moscow on Thursday.
