Putin spends over three hours answering reporters' questions

MOSCOW. Dec 18 (Interfax) - The annual big press conference of Russian President Vladimir Putin, which lasted for three hours and ten minutes, ended in Moscow on Thursday afternoon.

The head of state has answered almost 50 questions from dozens of journalists.

The press conference was attended by over 1,200 journalists. Their questions covered a broad range of domestic and foreign policy issues, as well as social, economic and military ones.

Of similar press conferences held in the past few years this one has been the shortest. As the head of state, Putin has already given ten similar press conferences. The longest one, which lasted four hours 40 minutes, was held in 2008.
