Heidi Tagliavini to remain OSCE envoy for Ukraine

MOSCOW. Dec 19 (Interfax) - Heidi Tagliavini has agreed to remain the OSCE special envoy for Ukraine after Switzerland hands over chairmanship of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to Serbia, Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said at a press conference in Moscow on Friday.

"I am glad that Heidi Tagliavini has agreed to remain the OSCE representative to Ukraine during the period of Serbian presidency [in the organization]," Dacic said.

Serbia will be the OSCE chair country for one year, starting on January 1, 2015.
