Russian, Kyrgyz presidents to discuss bilateral issues, integration - Ushakov

MOSCOW. Dec 22 (Interfax) - Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov has said that Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with Kyrgyz leader Almazbek Atambayev on the sidelines of the summits of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) on Tuesday.

"Tomorrow Putin will hold talks with Kyrgyz President Atambayev. These contacts (with the Kyrgyz leader) have been quite intense: this year the presidents met four times, this meeting will be fifth," Ushakov said at a briefing on Monday.

The Russian and Kyrgyz leaders will discuss how to adapt Kyrgyz economy to the conditions of the EEU, and a number of issues concerning Russia's aid in this context and other issues of the bilateral regional agenda.
