Energy Ministry not suggesting change in Bashneft management - minister
MOSCOW. Dec 23 (Interfax) - The Energy Ministry is not suggesting a change in the management of Bashneft , which recently was transferred from private to state ownership.
"We are not suggesting a change in Bashneft's management," Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told journalists.
At the same time Novak said that Bashneft's board of directors should include one of the deputy energy ministers.
Commenting on a question about the situation surrounding the license at the Trebs and Titov field, which the court ruled be registered in Bashneft's name instead of in the name of the joint venture between Bashneft and Lukoil , Novak said that at present time the issue of guaranteeing continued activity on the project is being discussed.
