Rosneft, Shell Aviation sign cooperation agreement
MOSCOW. Dec 24 (Interfax) - Rosneft subsidiary RN-Aero has signed a cooperation agreement with leading jet fuel supplier Shell Aviation, Rosneft said in a press release.
The agreement will allow RN-Aero to provide high level refueling services for its customers at select worldwide locations using the Shell Aviation global network.
In 2014 Rosneft became the Russian market leader by aviation fuel sales, Rosneft said. The planned supply volume in 2014 is estimated at 3.3 million tonnes of fuel.
Rosneft exercises operational control over fueling complexes at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport and airports in Sochi, Krasnoyarsk, Krasnodar, Gelendzhik, Anapa, Rostov-on-Don and Abakan. Moreover, Rosneft holds depository cards in Domodedovo and Yakutsk airports. For the time being Rosneft exercises into-plane fueling at 29 airports in Russia.
