Small, medium business owners block traffic on Khreshchatyk near Kyiv City Hall
KYIV. Dec 25 (Interfax) - About 200 protesters have blocked motor traffic on Khreshchatyk near the Kyiv City Hall.
Small and medium hardscaping business owners are blocking every lane on the city's main street, an Interfax correspondent reports.
The number of the protesters has been growing, and cars moving towards the City Hall have to turn back.
Another 200 people are standing near the City Hall.
The businessmen said yesterday they would picket the City Hall and demand the dismissal of city planning and architecture department director Andriy Vavrysh.
