Sergei Ivanov reiterates importance of prosecutors' work on price control, implementation of defense contracts

MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - Prosecutors should monitor the implementation of state defense contracts and the pricing of vital commodities, Sergei Ivanov, the head of the Russian presidential administration, said.

"Bearing in mind the difficult economic situation, you should help monitor the price of fuel, food and medications and immediately react to violations of work obligations, wage delays and other problems with the payment of wages and social benefits," Ivanov said at a meeting devoted to the celebration of the Prosecutors' Day.
