Russian military pledges to punish those guilty of killing family in Armenia

MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax-AVN) - A Russian Defense Ministry commission, led by First Deputy Defense Minister, General of the Army Arkady Bakhin, is investigating the killing of civilians in the Armenian city of Gyumri, the Russian Defense ministry reported.

"All those guilty will be brought to justice," it said in a statement received by Interfax-AVN on Monday.

A family of six, including a two year-old child, were killed in Gyumri, earlier reports said. A six-month-old baby was hospitalized in very serious condition. A search has been launched for soldiers from the Russian military base.
