Belarus posts budget surplus of 0.7% of GDP in 11M
MINSK. Jan 13 (Interfax) - The Belarusian republican budget had a surplus of 5 trillion Belarusian rubles, or 0.5% of GDP, in January-November 2014, the Finance Ministry told Interfax
Republican budget revenue was 113.8 trillion rubles or 87.7% of the adjusted year's target, and spending was 108.8 trillion rubles or 82.7%.
The consolidated budget, which includes the republican budget, local budgets and social welfare fund, had a surplus of 10.9 trillion rubles or 1.6% of GDP in the 11M.
Consolidated budget revenue was 279.4 trillion rubles or 89.6% of the year's adjusted target, and spending was 268.55 trillion rubles or 86%.
Republican budget revenue included 65.5 trillion rubles VAT, 16.5 trillion rubles profit tax and 19.4 trillion rubles excise.
Foreign trade revenue came to 16.1 trillion rubles and revenue for the Social Welfare Fund was 85.1 trillion rubles.
Tax arrears were 373.7 Belarus rubles on December 1.
The official exchange rate was 11,800 Belarus rubles/$1 at the end of December.
