Medvedev content with Russia-Monaco relationship

MOSCOW. Jan 14 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has called the relations between Russia and the Principality of Monaco 'positive'.

"We regard our relations as very good and hope that this year of friendship, which is currently taking place, will contribute to the development of the relations between Russia and the Principality of Monaco," Medvedev said at a meeting with Monaco's Minister of State Michel Roger.

The Russian head of government thanked the minister for attending the Gaidar Forum-2015 and for Prince Albert II's address which was read out at the forum.

"We listened to everything carefully. Please pass our best regards to His Serene Highness," Medvedev said.

For his part, Roger noted that the Year of Russia is a big event for Monaco. "Throughout this year we will be showcasing Russian culture, Russian science, Russian economy and painting," the state minister said.
