RusAg, VTB, Gazprombank fall under DIA criteria for recapitalization through federal loan bonds - Moiseyev

MOSCOW. Jan 14 (Interfax) - The Russian banks Russian Agricultural Bank (RusAg) , VTB and Gazprombank meet the criteria of the Deposit Insurance Agency (DIA) for recapitalization, and the list of banks will be confirmed on Friday, Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Moiseyev told journalists.

"We expect these banks [VTB and Gazprombank], as well as RusAg, to receive funds in the trillion [1 trillion rubles] program. Based on the criteria that were confirmed yesterday, it seems that these three banks will participate in this, but not only [them]; other will too of course," he said.

The list of banks that will be able to recapitalize through federal loan bonds (OFZ) will be confirmed after the release of reports as of January 1, 2015. "We are probably going to the DIA board of directors on Friday," Moiseyev said.
