DPR doubts OSCE will investigate Volnovakha bus attack properly

MOSCOW. Jan 15 (Interfax) - The ombudsperson of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Darya Morozova, has said she doubts that the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) will investigate the recent shelling of a passenger bus near Volnovakha, eastern Ukraine, thoroughly and promptly.

"We doubt that it will be a proper investigation. I know from my own experience about numerous delays in the OSCE's work. We received calls that something was happening to people in Ukrainian territory, but the OSCE answered: "please, call Mariupol", and in the end we had to do everything on our own," Morozova was quoted as saying on Thursday by the Donetsk News Agency.

The deputy chief of the OSCE special monitoring mission (OSCE SMM) in eastern Ukraine, Alexander Hug, confirmed the creation of a joint body that would investigate the shelling of a passenger bus near Volnovakha, as a result of which 12 people were killed.
