ChelPipe's Rimera now certified to ship to EU
CHELYABINSK. Jan 15 (Interfax) - CJSC Pipeline Bends, which is based in Chelyabinsk and part of Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant's (ChelPipe) Rimera, has been certified to European standards to ship its products to the EU, ChelPipe said in a press release.
Each standard production operation, from initial control to mechanical testing, took place in the presence of representatives from the TUV SUD group.
"Experts noted the high level of Pipeline Bends' production organization, and declared [that] the test samples were in full compliance with the requirements of European standards. For each potential order we are prepared to provide the necessary equipment and specialists of appropriate qualification," the press release quotes executive Leonid Malamud as saying.
Pipeline Bends has previously been certified to the Russian and international standards of GOST, ISO 9001 and API. The company is included in the list of approved suppliers of Gazprom and Transneft .
The ChTPZ Group manages Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant (ChTPZ) (ChelPipe), OJSC Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ), scrap metal company LLC Meta, the metal trading subdivision CJSC Uraltrubostal Trading House, and an oil service division represented by Rimera.
