Mortar attack damages apartment building in Shchastya, Luhansk region

KYIV. Jan 20 (Interfax) - The militia opened mortar fire at a residential quarter in the city of Shchastya, Luhansk region, on Tuesday morning, Hennadiy Moskal, governor of a part of the Luhansk region, said.

The attack damaged several buildings and people were injured, he said

"Mortar attacks carried out on Tuesday morning caused direct hits in an apartment building in Shchastya. Some thirty apartments were damaged. The number of casualties is now being determined," Moskal told Interfax.
