Central Bank raises 250 bln rubles in one-day deposit at 16.95% at auction

MOSCOW. Jan 21 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia raised 250 billion rubles in a one-day deposit from banks at an average-weighted 16.95% at a so-called "fine-tuning" auction, the Central Bank said on its website.

Banks offered to deposit 282.535 billion rubles in total.

A total of 48 banks from 16 regions took part in the auction, offering rates of 16.55%-17%. The cut-off was 17%.
