Kamaz sees revenue fall 5.7% in 2014, sales in Russia - 14%

MOSCOW. Jan 26 (Interfax) - The revenue of OJSC Kamaz group of organizations to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), according to preliminary data, was 107.749 billion rubles, the company said in a statement.

Kamaz's revenue in 2013 to IFRS reached 114.317 billion rubles. Therefore the fall in revenue was 5.75%.

The statement also said that Kamaz's sales in Russian in 2014 amounted to 32,600 automobiles. In 2013, 38,070 automobiles were sold in Russia, so the fall in sales amounted to 14.4%.

The company's total sales with account of exports in 2014 amounted to 38,900 automobiles, down 11.2%.

Kamaz's marketing director, Ashot Arutyunyan, told Interfax that the company had planned to sell 39,000 automobiles on the domestic market and 6,000 for export. "We had 39,000 marked for the domestic market and 6,000 for export. We more or less managed the six. We have a problem with the Russian market. To speak frankly, if there wasn't utilization, we might not have met the plan for four thousand [automobiles]," he said. In January-November 2014, 27,300 Kamaz automobiles were sold. From January 22, 2015 Kamaz has resumed sales according to the utilization program.
