Rada statement calling Russia aggressor counterproductive - Israeli foreign minister

MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman sees the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada's statement on Tuesday in which Russia was called "an aggressor" as counterproductive.

"Even rhetorical growth in temperatures in relations is counterproductive, and we don't think this would promote a settlement," Lieberman said in an interview with Interfax commenting on the Rada statement on Tuesday.

"It would be extremely helpful to turn down the rhetoric and mutual accusations," Lieberman said.
