Anti-crisis plan calls for over 50 bln rubles to fight unemployment in 2015
MOSCOW. Jan 28 (Interfax) - The Russian government plans to allocate over 52 billion rubles in 2015 to fight unemployment in Russia, according to Russia's anti-crisis plan, which has already been signed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
Released on Wednesday, the plan states that the government plans to spend 52.2 billion rubles on additional measures on the labor market of Russia's federal subjects. This includes organizing public works and advanced professional training with the aim of lowering stresses on the labor market.
The anti-crisis plan also calls for up to 30 billion rubles in subsidies from the budget to pay the unemployed in Russia's federal subjects.
The section devoted to social assistance allows for a one time payment of up to 20,000 rubles in 2015 from Russia's Maternity Capital policy to provide Russians with material support. The anti-crisis plan does not state the overall amount of 2015 expenditures.
It is also assumed that up to 10 billion rubles in budgetary provisions will be set aside to provide the disabled with technical means of rehabilitation.
