Russia sees no issues in fact that not all opposition activists joined Syrian Moscow consultations
MOSCOW. Jan 28 (Interfax) - Russia does not dramatize the fact that not all representatives of the Syrian opposition have come to Moscow to participate in the Syrian consultations.
"Not all opposition representatives who were invited to Moscow were able to come. We are not making a big deal out of that, we are convinced that the efforts to promote national dialogue will continue," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a meeting between representatives of the Syrian opposition and the Syrian government in Moscow on Wednesday.
The national coalition of Syrian revolutionary and opposition forces earlier refused to take part in the contacts.
