VTB Capital reduces stake in Lenta to 6.3%
MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - Luna Holdings, a company controlled by VTB Capital, has reduced its stake in Lenta Ltd, which owns LLC Lenta, the operating company of the eponymous Russian retail chain, to 6.29% from 7.9%.
Luna now owns 27,051,738 Lenta GDR, which is equivalent to 5,410,347 shares, down from 33,882,815 GDR or 6,776,563 shares previously, the retailer said in a statement.
Luna therefore sold 6.8 million GDR. Such a stake is currently worth $39.3 million based on the price of $5.74 per GDR on the London Stock Exchange.
Lenta's shareholder capital consists of 86,053,394 shares (five GDR are equivalent to one share).
