Transneft First Vice President leaves position to head NII TNN

MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - The former first vice president of Transneft , Yury Lisin, has left his position and will become the CEO of LLC Research Institute for Oil and Oil Products Transportation (NII TNN) on January 30, 2015, the company said in a statement.

Lisin will still maintain his position on the company's management board.

In his new position at NII TNN, Lisin will concentrate on carrying out strategic tasks related to the scientific and technological development of the Russian oil transport industry. He will also focus on developing and implementing innovative technologies, including those that will substitute imports.

Igor Demin, who is an advisor to the president of Transneft, told Interfax that Lisin was in charge of construction, operational issues and innovative development. Demin added that Transneft does not plan on appointing a replacement and Lisin's duties will be distributed among other vice presidents.
