Militias report more shelling in Donetsk

DONETSK. Feb 3 (Interfax) - The Kuibyshevsky district of Donetsk has come under fire and several properties have been hit, according to sources in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

"A shell hit a private house in Tsimlyanskaya Street in the Kuibyshevsky district, setting it on fire," a source in the DPR emergencies ministry told Interfax.

For their part, sources in the militia headquarters told Interfax that some shells hit apartment blocks in Kuibyshev Street and in the Azotny micro-district. "The Azotny micro-district and the Topaz micro-district in the Kuibyshevsky district came under fire, the number of casualties is being verified," the source said.

Furthermore, all mine workers from the Zasyadko coal mine, who were trapped underground after an emergency power outage, have been brought to the surface, according to the DPR emergencies ministry.
