Russian Central Bank to keep pursuing tight monetary policy even with lower key rate - chief
MOSCOW. Feb 3 (Interfax) - The Russian Central Bank will keep pursuing a tight monetary and financing policy even despite its recent decision to lower the key rate, Central Bank chief Elvira Nabiullina told journalists on Tuesday.
"Despite the rate's reduction to 15% from 17%, our policy remains tight. This is an area of positive interest rates," she said.
