Ukrainian military maintains partial control over Vuhlehirsk

KYIV. Feb 4 (Interfax) - Vuhlehirsk, Debaltseve, is partially controlled by the Ukrainian forces, Andriy Lysenko, an official representative of the Ukrainian defense and security structures, said.

Citing the most recent information, Lysenko said that part of the city is controlled by the forces opposing the Ukrainian troops and that: "our Ukrainian troops remained in some positions."

"In addition, there is fire support, which is maintained by our artillery," Lysenko told a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Lysenko said several attacks on Ukrainian forces had been fought off last night.
