Rosneft to carry out preparatory work in 2015 to drill at shelf in 2016

MOSCOW. Feb 5 (Interfax) - Rosneft is planning to carry out preparatory work in 2015 in order to drill at the shelf in 2016, the Russian oil company said in a statement.

Such work includes preparing logistical bases in Sakhalin, the Murmansk region and Magadan, as well as geological surveying at Magadan sections.

Rosneft plans on working with Statoil to drill two exploratory wells in 2016, as well as two wells on the Black Sea.
