Much too early to speak about peacekeepers in Ukraine conflict zone - U.S. diplomat

ASTANA. Feb 10 (Interfax) - It is much too early to speak about the deployment of peacekeepers to the conflict zone in Ukraine, said Daniel Rosenblum, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Central Asia at the U.S. Department of State.

He said in a teleconference on Tuesday it would be premature to discuss such prospects. A journalist asked whether it would be expedient to send peacekeepers to Ukraine.

In the words of Rosenblum, the United States has unwaveringly supported a diplomatic solution and the political settlement of the dramatic conflict in Ukraine.
