Militia didn't strike Kramatorsk - DPR Defense Ministry

DONETSK. Feb 10 (Interfax) - The Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have denied the Ukrainian military reports on the shelling of Kramatorsk.

"The DPR did not strike Kramatorsk. We don' attack cities with civilian population, unlike representatives of Ukraine, it's a provocation," the DPR Defense Ministry official told Interfax.

"Look at the map and the technical characteristics of the Grad system. We physically could not reach this point. It's a provocation," Eduard Basurin of the Defense Ministry of the DPR told Interfax.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko earlier accused militia forces of firing Tornado multiple-launch rocket systems at the Kramatorsk-based central headquarters of the Ukrainian army operation and nearby residential areas on Tuesday, saying some people were killed and wounded.
