Egypt, EEU to form free-trade zone

CAIRO. Feb 10 (Interfax) - Egypt and the Eurasian Economic Union intend to create a free-trade zone, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said.

"An agreement to create a free-trade zone between Egypt and the Eurasian Economic Union has been reached which would allow us to optimize trade and economic cooperation between our countries," el-Sisi told a joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Cairo on Tuesday.
