Power Machines may place orders in China for power generation components

MOSCOW. Feb 12 (Interfax) - Power Machines is interested in placing orders in China to manufacture components for equipment used in hydropower, nuclear power and thermal power plants being delivered for projects in Russia and third countries, a source familiar with the protocol of the first meeting of the Russian-Chinese working group on cooperation in electricity generation told Interfax.

The meeting was held in Beijing on February 3. The Russian delegation at the meeting was led by Deputy Energy Minister Vyacheslav Kravchenko and the Chinese delegation by deputy National Energy Administration head Wang Yumin.

The members of the working group also noted Power Machines' interest in delivering impellers, hydro-turbines and other equipment to customers in China.
