Acron's capex planned at 9 bln rubles in 2015

MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax) - Acron's capex in 2015 is planned at more than 9 billion rubles, the company said in a quarterly report.

The main part of the funds will be invested in the completion of the construction and launch of a new ammonia unit at OJSC Acron in Veliky Novgorod with a capacity of 700,000 tonnes a year, and also at projects for the processing of nepheline concentrate and the production of rare earth metals.

The implementation of the Ammonia-4 project will allow Acron to increase ammonia production capacity by 65%. The advantage of the new ammonia unit will be lower net consumption of gas - 927 cubic meters per tonne, the current ammonia installation uses 1,070 cubic meters of gas per tonne.

The total volume of investments in the project is $420 million. The launch of production is planned for 2015.
