Russia, Abkhazia to sign treaty on state border after delimitation - Lavrov
MOSCOW. Feb 18 (Interfax) - Russia and Abkhazia are now working on the delimitation of the Russian-Abkhaz border to sign a treaty on state border in the future, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"We are now working with Abkhazia on border delimitation to sign a treaty on the border with our Abkhaz neighbors," he told a press conference following negotiations with his South Ossetian counterpart David Sanakoyev.
"We completed the negotiations with South Ossetia earlier and we have signed the treaty today," he said.
The foreign ministers of Russia and South Ossetia signed a treaty on the state border in Moscow on Wednesday.
