DPR, LPR condition their affiliation to Ukraine on Minsk accords
MOSCOW. Feb 19 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics do not rule out they may be part of Ukraine if every provision of the Minsk agreements is observed.
"Everything is said in the package of measures towards the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements. Once Ukraine observes every provision, we will see an entirely different country. And a decision regarding centralization, autonomy or federalization will be made on direct coordination with us," DPR chief negotiator in the Contact Group Denis Pushilin told the Russian News Service Radio on Thursday.
"If the country is united, it will be a whole new country, without corruption and oligarchs and with constitutional amendments coordinated with us [the LPR and the DPR]," he said.
