Russia to send humanitarian aid to Debaltseve in coming hours - Puchkov
MOSCOW. Feb 19 (Interfax) - Russian Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov has announced that the next humanitarian aid convoy will leave for the south-east of Ukraine within the next few hours.
The Emergency Situations Ministry will present its suggestions concerning the contents of the humanitarian cargo, he said.
"Everything will be done promptly. Today all suggestions will be submitted in accordance with the established procedure. We are preparing humanitarian supplies, which will include food, primarily for elderly people and children, who are effectively starving there, as well as medicine," Puchkov said.
The cargo will also include personal hygiene resources due to the complicated sanitary and epidemiological situation in the region, he said.
