Almaz-Antey concern fulfilled almost 30 export contracts in 2014

ABU DHABI. Feb 23 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's Almaz-Antey air defense concern is implementing a large number of contracts to export air defense systems to foreign countries, Almaz-Antey representatives told Interfax-AVN at an arms show in Abu Dhabi.

"The company fulfilled 28 contracts with eleven countries in 2014," a company representative said.

Spare parts and components make up a larger part of the exports and account for more than 50% of the revenue, he said. Repair of air defense systems and work to extend their service life - 21%, delivery of radars, mobile repair centers and software 17%, the training of foreign specialists 7% and the establishment of restoration repair centers about 4%.

The compnay's stock of orders is estimated at over $200 million.
