South Korea's Lotte Group might buy Moscow's Atrium - paper

MOSCOW. Feb 25 (Interfax) - South Korea's Lotte Group might buy Moscow's Atrium mall, located on the Garden Ring next to Kursky Railway Station, Maeil Business Newspaper reported, citing sources from investment banks.

The size of the deal is still under discussion, but will amount to "hundreds of millions" of dollars, the South Korean paper writes.

Atrium covers 103,000 square meters, which is four times larger than Lotte Plaza's mall on New Arbat, which was opened in 2007.

Lotte's official representative confirmed that the company was considering buying Atrium. Talks are still in their early stages, however, the representative added.
