Eurozone to lose competitiveness as EU scales down economic ties with Russia - Putin

NOVO-OGARYOVO. Feb 25 (Interfax) - The scaling down by the European Union of economic relations with Russia will lead to a certain loss of competitiveness of the whole Eurozone, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.

"The scaling down of the EU's economic ties with Russia will inevitably lead to the entire Eurozone losing a certain share of its competitiveness in the medium and long-term," he told a press conference held jointly with his Cypriot counterpart Nicos Anastasiades.
