Approx. 4,000 Russian Investigative Committee workers held liable last year
MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - Approximately 4,000 workers of the Russian Investigative Committee were held liable last year, Russian Investigative Committee Chairman Alexander Bastrykin said.
A total of 3,970 Investigative Committee workers, among them 1,293 district-level officials and 56 chiefs of investigative departments and their deputies, were held liable in 2014, he said at a meeting of the Russian Investigative Committee Board on Thursday.
"Regretfully, we will have to continue this practice," Bastrykin added.
