Russia's envoy to OSCE expects Ukrainian command to order pullback Thursday
MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - Russian permanent representative at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Andrei Kelin says he possessed information indicating that the Ukrainian command would give an order on withdrawing heavy weapons and hardware from the line of contact in the eastern part of the country on Thursday.
"The OSCE so far doesn't have such information [that the Ukrainian government forces have started pulling back their heavy hardware]. There is information that the Ukrainian command might possibly issue a withdrawal order today," Kelin said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.
The withdrawal of Ukrainian weapons "must be verifiable, and OSCE representatives should monitor this," he said.
