Donetsk People's Republic says 90% of heavy arms withdrawn

MOSCOW. Feb 26 (Interfax) - The self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic has withdrawn 90% of its heavy weapons from the frontline, its leader said on Thursday.

"In compliance with the Minsk agreements of February 12, the DPR forces have withdrawn heavy armaments to approved distances. Ninety percent have been withdrawn - artillery, mortars and the like," the Donetsk News Agency quoted Alexander Zakharchenko as saying.
